Agreement
By using PDFMoss you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
The service
PDFMoss offers free tools for working with PDF files and images. Most tools run entirely in your browser. We may add, change or remove tools, or stop the service, at any time and without notice.
Your files
Your files stay yours: we claim no rights to anything you open or create with PDFMoss. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use and change the files you work with.
Acceptable use
Don't use PDFMoss to break the law or to infringe other people's rights, including copyright and privacy. Don't attack, overload or disrupt the site, and don't use automated tools to get around its limits.
No guarantee
PDFMoss is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Converted files, extracted tables and recognized text can contain mistakes, so check important documents, especially amounts and dates, before you rely on them, and keep your original files.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, PDFMoss and the people behind it are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or business, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to US$50. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
Open-source software
PDFMoss is built with open-source libraries. Their licenses apply to those libraries.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
