Turn BMP bitmaps from scanners, older software or Paint into a compact PDF that opens anywhere. Add several images to get one multi-page document.
Compression turns each page into an image, so text can no longer be selected or searched. Best for scans and photo-heavy files; text-only PDFs may get larger.

Recognition runs on your device and takes a few seconds per page. The language model (1–3 MB) downloads the first time.
Text finds words that were added, removed or changed. Appearance finds anything that looks different, including images, layout and scanned pages. Both files stay on your device.
Fonts, tables, images and charts are kept. Up to 50 MB per file; several files come back as one ZIP.
Works best with PDFs made from a document (not scans). Text, fonts, tables and images become editable in Word. Run OCR first on scanned PDFs.
